Dave was born and raised in eastern Massachusetts where he took up fishing at a very young age along with many other sports and activities. Consistently competed with success in both saltwater and freshwater bass fishing tournaments through his twenties.
However, as a teenager he became an extreme sports phenom and ultimately became a professional paintball player. Traveling around the world, Dave ultimately became a World Champion and continued to compete for over 30 + years and today is still able to compete at a high level.
Dave came back from his long hiatus of tournament fishing in 2020 and fully dedicated himself to tournament bass fishing with the ultimate goal to become one of the best, just as he was in the extreme sports world.
Over the last few years, Dave has competed in many national, regional and locally based tournaments and has quickly made a name for himself as an exceptional angler. In his first full season with Major League Fishing’s Toyota Series, he was able to earn a spot in the Championships. Since then, the desire has grown to achieve more. The fire to compete is just as strong as it always has been throughout his life and he will not stop until the ultimate goal is reached.
His long term goals are to earn an invite and to be successful within one of the Professional Tours and gain charitable partnerships for Autism Awareness.
